Your new Home!

Wondering how to buy your first home?  Lost in the process?  No idea how to obtain financing?  Keep reading and you will get your answers!!
 The first thing to do is find a quality Realtor.  A Realtor is someone who has a license to buy and sell real estate.  They should be able to locate and set up showings.  They should be knowledgeable in all aspects of home buying and selling.  They should be willing to help you with all your questions and not rest until the perfect home is found for you!  You should use someone like me!
The second thing is to obtain financing.  Your Realtor should have a list of mortgage lenders that they recommend.  The Realtor will introduce you and the lender and you make the decision on whether you want to work with them or not.  Who ever you decide to work with, there are things that the lender should do.  First, the lender should ask you a lot of questions and ask for tax returns and any paperwork that goes along with buying a home.  A quality lender will be interested in helping you fix any credit issues and work with you on getting anything resolved.  A great lender cares about your wants and needs and will address those accordingly.  After your get Pre-approved, the next step is to....
You guessed it!  LOOK AT HOMES!  Your Realtor should have asked you what your wants and needs are and should have been searching for homes that fit your criteria.  Your Realtor will set up the showings on homes that you want to look at and will research the neighborhood and be able to show you interesting  features on the home.  You want a Realtor who cares about you and what you want.  You want one that will LISTEN!
After your find your perfect home, your Realtor will draw up a contract and you will sign it and your Realtor will send it over to the sellers Broker.  You will either get an accepted contract, a countered contract or a rejected contract.  Which ever one you get, your Realtor will know what to do.
